Pastors Rod & Rebecca SundholmSenior Pastors
Pastor Rod and his wife, Rebecca founded New Creation Church (formerly Word of Faith Christian Center) in Hillsboro, Oregon in 1990. Both Rod
and Rebecca were born and raised in Portland, Oregon. After meeting outside their apartment complex in 1974 they fell in love and married in 1975. It was later when they were given a book called, 'Get All Excited, Jesus is Coming Soon.' when they accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. They were intrigued by the message and both prayed the salvation prayer. As a log truck driver, Rod had many hours to pray and listen to teaching tapes. During that time, as he listened to the preaching of Kenneth E. Hagin and others, his faith and relationship with God grew to a deeper level then ever before. It was in 1982 that the Lord spoke to his heart and told him to go to Rhema Bible Training Center in Oklahoma. Rod graduated in 1988 and Rebecca graduated in 1989.
They returned to Oregon to fulfill the call of God on their lives. In 1990 they founded 'Victory Christian Fellowship' which is now 'New Creation Church'. God gave the vision to Pastors Rod and Rebecca Sundholm that they were to reach this valley, from the Columbia River the California Border with the Word of Faith. With over 20 years of experience in the ministry, they are continuing to preach the Word of Faith in the Hillsboro area and desire to see revival in this community.
